Night 1 Vegas Trip March 23, 2016

We are SO ready for this trip, I mean just to break the routine and relax…. nothing crazy, but we need this.
We added this night last minute because we much rather drive late afternoon and sleep in LV so we wake up fresh and ready to take on the day than waking up super early and just be sleepy all the time during the first day.

V picked me up and we left the house around 3pm

We crossed the boarder and although the line was super long the wait wasnt THAT bad.

As soon as we were at the US side we stopped at Subway for lunch… so hungry!

V was not a fan of the service today.. all is good, we are on our way to Vegas, baby!

So. Much. Traffic…. not on this pic though, I sang ALL day way there, V sure loves me…lol.

Made it to Primm for a quick pee stop at around 10:30pm aprox

Drove on The Strip and arrived at our home for the night… El Cortez… had to take some selfies while we relaxed at our room for a bit

I live my hair, too bad it has to leave when I go back to work..m 😦 sniff sniff

Upon check in I got a Cabana Suite, score! As we paid Vintage room rates 😉

Must. Eat….

Decided on Siegel’s and I must say service was slooooow, but we didnt mind that much… we talked and made plans for the next day and people watched, always so much fun.

Everything was very good despite the wait and yes, we just had water as we were both very tired, the plans to beat up our livers is for another day.

Played a bit here and there for a grand total loss of $30 bucks

V did better, he didnt win he just didnt loose as much. Lol.

Had to take a pic of what they did with what used to be the Café Cortez; it is now a pizza place named Pizza Lotto

They also added this weird Massage place…. ill pass.

So after a bit of play we went back to the room around 2am and read for a bit and then zzzzzz …. the next day is packed of things to do so we must charge our batteries!
